Where We Can Go

Every tour on this page is a suggestion, not a fixed program. They exist to show what's possible — the kinds of days that become possible when you have a guide, a car, and the freedom to follow what interests you.

When I tried to think about where to take people, I kept arriving at the same answer: the places I go myself. With friends, with family, or alone. Not only the obvious tourist destinations, but the places that a Japanese person living in Japan chooses when the time matters — a day off, a long weekend, someone they want to show something to. That felt right, even if it wasn't the most obvious approach.

Some of the photographs on this site include friends and family. That's not incidental. As I take more guests to these places, there will be more photographs of guests. But for now, the pictures are honest about where this started.

If something here sparks an idea, or if you have something entirely different in mind, get in touch. The itinerary is always the starting point, never the destination.
